Oregon. A man on Monday night used his long dreadlocks to choke his girlfriend during a domestic dispute at his Portland home. The victim, who has not been yet identified, told police that her boyfriend, Caleb Grotberg, used his long locks as weapons after an argument which turn violent. The police arrived to their place after a report of domestic assault and led him to prison. The woman was taken to a local hospital where doctors treated her for “non-life-threatening injuries,” Sgt. Pete Simpson of the Portland Police Bureau told ABC News. Grotberg was charged with second degree kidnapping, attempted second degree assault, fourth degree assault, menacing and strangulation.
