Michael Kindt was at a California restaurant and he noticed that someone had left a printed paper on a table.
The paper was actually a statement about some customer's political views. Or we may better say tips policy.
The card went: "As a direct result of …President Obama's insistence that I pay 'MY FAIR SHARE IN TAXES, I find that I must cut back on discretionary spending and gratuities," "I wish it didn't have to be this way."
Certainly a very strict analysis of the American food and tax system but I guess the waiters don't waste time throwing things like this away if they don't hide a coin.
And by the way: how much does printing those things cost compared to leaving a tip?
