Snakes on a plane: Python filmed on the wing of a Qantas flight
Passengers on a Qantas flight were very surprised to see at 30.000 feet above a snake on the wing of their flight. The Scrub Python found itself heading for Papua New Guinea but unfortunately being on the outside of a plane doesn't really help the weak animal to survive. The snake tried during the beginning of the plane to get in the slots which could have repaired it from death. Luckly when the plane landed in Port Moresby, the snake had survived to the cold -which can get to -12C- and the stress of the situation. Passenger Robert Weber told the Sydney Morning Herald: “There was no panic. At no time did anyone stop to consider there might be others on board. I felt quite sad for it really," he added for the traumatic experience of the snake.
