A 23-year-old woman from the rural town of Noto, Japan, decided to rob a convenience store. But she was so gentle that police are currently unsure what charges they can press. The woman burst into the Circle K convenience store brandishing a large blade like a kitchen knife on January 5th: “Give me all the money” she told the clerk. Apparently seeing this lady wasn't a danger the clerk decided to lie and said “there is no money.” The woman quickly lost the heart for crime and requested the clerk to “call the police, please.” Upon her arrest the woman confessed saying that she simply wanted some money. Police are carefully investigating the details of this incident including whether or not the woman’s actions qualify for attempted robbery charges. It's hard because she didn't represent a threat even though she had a weapon.
